Costco is urging consumers to check their freezers and toss frozen meals that may be contaminated with deadly bacteria.

The recall involves Red‘s Southwestern Grilled Chicken Mini Burritos purchased from Oct. 1-10, 2024. In an abundance of caution, Red’s has initiated a voluntary recall on certain packages of Grilled Chicken Mini Burritos due to the potential of listeria contamination in chicken provided by one of its suppliers.

It’s another notice related to the massive recall of 9 million pounds of ready-to-eat meat and poultry products produced by BrucePac. The products have the potential to be contaminated with listeria monocytogenes. Out of an abundance of caution, Reser’s Fine Foods is voluntarily recalling a limited number of meal kits due to the inclusion of recalled chicken from BrucePac.

Affected packages of Red‘s Southwestern Grilled Chicken Mini Burritos are limited to these expiration dates:

The best-by date can be found on the bottom of the package. If you have any product with the affected lot code remaining, do not eat the product. You can return it to Costco for a refund.

Consumers can contact Red’s All Natural service line at 888-522-9408.
