Body, human remains found in freezer inside Michigan home

EAST LANSING, Mich. – A body and human remains were found in a freezer at a Michigan home on Thursday.

Police responded to a home in the 1500 block of Wintercrest Street in East Lansing on Nov. 7, 2024, just after 12 p.m. for a suspicious situation. There, they found blood on the floor.

After searching the home, police found a body and possible human remains of a second person inside a freezer.

The investigation is ongoing. East Lansing police said no arrests were made, and there is no threat to the public.
